G4S Canada Extends Commitment to G4S Employees’ Trust Fund
G4S Canada proudly announces its ongoing commitment to participation in the G4S Employees’ Trust Fund.In 2007 and 2008 alone, G4S Canada granted approximately $75,000 Cdn. to its employees and their families. The charitable trust fund, originally founded in 1956 and christened the Schroder Fund, extends financial relief to all current and former G4S employees as well as their dependants.
Eligible employees and their families can access these funds to help offset the financial toll associated with managing diverse issues that range from ongoing cancer treatment to prolonged rehabilitation following a vehicle accident.
“It’s a rewarding experience to participate in this unique employee program,” says Luc Ferland, Senior Vice President Human Resources Southwestern Ontario Region. “It gives us the opportunity to give back to all of those employees (and their families) who every day make such an enormous contribution to our organization.”
In its commitment to an ongoing caring employee environment, G4S Canada receives requests for employee assistance from the employee’s manager or HR Director. Once an assessment of the employee’s situation is complete, the G4S Employees’ Trust Fund can provide a wide range of relief in the form of a financial grant, provisions for medical consultations, medical treatment, clothing or ongoing rehabilitation assistance.
