G4S aims to provide details of any substantial shareholdings in the ordinary capital of G4S plc on a regular basis

The directors have been notified of the following substantial shareholdings at 8 February 2012 in the ordinary capital of G4S plc:

Prudential: 89,325,538 (6.33%) – this includes the 80,962,276 (5.73%) notified separately by M&G Investment Funds

Harris Associates: 69,584,044 (4.93%)

BlackRock, Inc. : 70,751,402  (5.02%)

Legal & General Group Plc: 56,054,546 (3.97%)
