G4S plc hereby notifies the market that, as at the date of this announcement, its issued share capital consists of 1,551,594,436 ordinary shares of 25 pence each; each with the right to one vote.

The above figure of 1,551,594,436 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for their calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, G4S plc under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
