Ronald Reagan Building
In Washington DC, All Star (a G4S business) has saved US taxpayers more than $3.4 million over the past two years
The All Star team’s expertise in providing operations and maintenance services in secure environments has enabled it to significantly reduce the energy consumption of its client – the US General Services Agency (GSA), earning the team recognition as ‘Energy Champions’ last summer. Working in partnership with the GSA’s building management team, G4S have reduced overall energy consumption at key sites such as the Ronald Reagan Building by 11.3% and the nearby Ariel Rios Building by 8.2%.
Greg Diz, GSA’s Senior Building Manager for the Ronald Regan Building, describes the success of G4S employees: “The combined efforts of G4S All Star and GSA have resulted in savings of over $2.2 million to date over FY2010. These are unprecedented savings here at the Regan Building and we are truly fortunate to have G4S personnel working on our behalf to save energy for the environment and money for the US taxpayers.”
