Accompanying the Prime Minister was Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell, Trade Minister Lord Green and the leaders of top UK businesses including David Taylor-Smith, Regional CEO for G4S UK & Africa. The delegation attended a series of events in both South Africa and Nigeria which brought together businesses and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on how they can work more together.

David Taylor Smith commented “as the largest British employer in Africa, providing livelihoods for over 100,000 employees in 27 countries, we were very pleased that the Prime Minister visited this strategically important and high growth market. We have over fifty years experience across Africa, allowing organisations to go about their business safely and securely: we look forward to the Prime Minister’s support in helping British companies to compete even more effectively.”
