With net assets of $6m, ADT OM is a leading provider of offender monitoring services in the USA. It is headquartered in Chicago and monitors more than 17,000 participants across the USA.  The acquisition consolidates Group 4 Securicor’s position as the global leader in offender monitoring services.

Synergies from the acquisition will be derived from consolidating the ADT OM monitoring center and head office in Chicago into the G4S operation in California, expanding the use of G4S’s proprietary monitoring software and equipment, and cost reductions through renegotiating contracts with major suppliers.

The larger company will lead the USA electronic monitoring market both in terms of monitoring revenues and participants monitored.”
