G4S , the international security solutions group, today announces that it has received an offer to acquire its entire shareholding in its manned security business in France, G4S Holdings (France) SAS, and that company’s operating subsidiaries (together “G4S France”) from Security Services Group S.C.A. (“Security Services Group”).
Disposal of G4S Holdings (France) SAS
Security Services Group is an affiliated portfolio company of Sun European Partners, LLP, the European adviser to Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a leading U.S.- based private investment firm ("Sun European").
On the basis of this offer, G4S France is commencing consultation with the relevant works councils in accordance with French labour laws. The management of both G4S France and Security Services Group will actively engage with the relevant works councils to ensure the successful completion of the consultation.
