In the face of three major hurricanes during the summer of 2017, G4S deployed 900 G4S Security Officers and an Emergency Operations Center team with one mission: to promptly deliver Disaster and Emergency Services to our clients in harm’s way and provide aid to those in the storm’s path. With determination and compassion, G4S personnel from 88 local offices from Honolulu to Boston deployed quickly, delivering security, safety and business continuity for hundreds of client locations in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.

While filming an episode overseas, G4S responded to a medical incident involving one of the main cast members. After arriving at the scene, agents learned a malfunction in the set caused a piece of equipment to fall, resulting in the actor suffering head lacerations which required medical attention.

In November 2015, the security director of a leading U.S. food manufacturer contacted G4S following a workplace violence incident in the Birmingham, Alabama area. The security director reported that one of the company’s delivery drivers was making his daily rounds when he got into a argument with a grocery store manager at one of his stops. The argument escalated into a shoving match that intensified further when the driver pulled out a handgun and shot into the store’s receiving door. Fortunately, no one was injured.
