Our company offers services and solutions targeted to Fleet management & Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), Navigation, Best Routing, Asset and Personal Safety. We have significant experience and a proven track record in the project management and implementation of large scale Telematics projects, which culminated with the deployment of the AVL system for the Athens 2004 Olympics C4I (the largest telematics project in the Balkans).
Milestones:
- 1998: Creation of the Telematics Applications Department. The deployment of telematics units in 500 corporate vehicles begins.
- 1999: Telematix S.A. is formed in Athens Greece.
- 2001: Collaboration with NGI - LIDAR scanning for the construction of high precision maps covering Athens and Thessalonica
- 2002: Telematix Alarm Receiving Centre is selected as the EuroWatch partner in Greece.
- 2003: Telematix S.A. provides live coverage over the Internet for the Aegean Rally, the largest and most prestigious sailboat race in Greece. Since then Telematix is the exclusive partner of H.O.R.C.
- 2004: Introduction of Destinator3 navigation system in the Greek market. Maps provided by NGI. Electronic Tourist Guide in collaboration with Enarro.
- 2004: The Athens 2004 Olympics C4i AVL system is installed and deployed in 4205 emergency agencies (Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulances, Coast Guard) vehicles & boats.
- 2005: Participation in european programms (STREP) POMPEI and PEPERS with Information Society Technologies.
- 2005: Telematix SA declares as project leader for “G4S European Tracking Initiative”.
- 2006: Concretisation of completed and autonomous solution of monitoring and management of 120 vehicles of patrol for the company Group 4 Securicor UK. The system was installed in Data Center of G4S UK in Belfast and is used for the monitoring of vehicles in two stations of reception of signals in Belfast and in Bedford.
- 2006: Member of Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA – EMEA)
- 2007:Concretisation of completed and autonomous solution of monitoring and management of vehicles for Group 4 Securicor Turkey (money transfers) - 144 vehicles, and for Group 4 Securicor Serbia - 28 vehicles.
- 2007: Issuing of Possibility of Certification (Certification) at TAPA TSR and Controls (Audit) at TAPA FSR
- 2007: Management of work of monitoring and safety of 11.000 postal employees in Romania.
- 2008: Concretisation of completed and autonomous solution of monitoring and management of vehicles for Group 4 Securicor Romania (money transfers): 780 vehicles
