Child Welfare Scheme Nepal

Print
Child Welfare Scheme Nepal (CWSN) is a well regarded development organization implementing projects at a grass roots level, founded in 1995 by Douglas Maclagan.  The aim of the organization is to enable “the local communities to help themselves” and “to bring in innovative ideas, focusing on education and health, but always making sure that they could be implemented at a local, ‘Nepali Style’ level.”

G4S Gurkha Services has been proud to sponsor CWS Nepal for a number of years with JYOTI Rehabilitation Project.  As the first and largest employer of contracted Nepali staff in security industry in Hong Kong, G4S has strong ties with the Nepali community both locally as well as in Nepal.  Continuing our commitment to the betterment of the Nepali community, G4S will continue to support JYOTI Rehabilitation in 2006 through the sponsorship of a number of small assets used to provide a proper environment and updated facilities to disabled students and social workers.
