G4S Wins Trailwalker Four Years Running
The G4S Trailwalker Team, in their fourth win, completed the 100km MacLehose Trail for the Trailwalker competition, in a time of 12 hours and 07 minutes.Manbahadur Gurung, team manager for the G4S Trailwalker Team comments,
“This year’s competition was fierce with a strong showing by all teams. It was a tough competition but we are very happy to have won.”
Glenn Tracey, Managing Director of G4S Hong Kong, says:
“We feel that this competition truly embodies the spirit of team work and are very proud of our team pulling together to win this competition. Even more importantly, we are pleased to be a part of this wonderful fund-raising event by Oxfam and hope that on this 25th year anniversary of the race, we can also collectively break the record in the total amount of money raised.”

- 2006 – 1st place: 12 hours and 07 minutes
- 2005 – 1st place: 12 hours and 38 minutes raising over HKD$100,000
- 2004 – 1st place: 11 hours and 57 minutes raising over HKD$80,000
(breaking their our own record by 19 minutes) - 2003 – 1st place: 12 hours 16 minutes raising over HKD$90,000
(breaking the previous record by 31 minutes) - 2002 – 3rd place: 14 hours 20 minutes raising HKD$120,000
- 2001 – 3rd place: 14 hours 27 minutes raising over HKD $100,000
- 2000 – 3rd place: 15 hours 3 minutes raising over HKD $100,000
- 1999 – 5th place: 15 hours 9 minutes raising over HKD $75,000
