Regional President, North Africa, Middle East

David joined Securitas Alarm, UK in 1965. He has held a number of different positions in the company in Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.

In 1989, under the newly formed Group 4 Securitas company, David moved to India to start the Indian company. Since then David has started companies in Kuwait and all the Gulf countries, Nepal, Bangladesh, Philippines and Malaysia.

Following the merger between Group 4 and Falck, David become the Regional President for the Middle East and South East Asia for Group 4 Falck and in 2005, following the merger of Group 4 Falck with Securicor, he was appointed as the Regional President for North Africa, Middle East and Southern Asia.

David is a founder member and Deputy Chairman of the India Chapter of OSAC, Chairman of the European Business Group, Chairman of the Foreign Missing Persons Bureau and Chairman of the Grant Govan Memorial Homes. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

David has also received several awards for his work in India and is particularly proud of two distinguished awards he was honoured with, being the Dr.V.V.Giri Centenary Award in 1995 and the Shiromani Award in 1997 ,for creating employment opportunities for the less privileged.

In 1998 he was confirmed an MBE by HM Queen Elizabeth-II of Great Britain and in 2007 was awarded the Prince Henrik Medal of Honour by the Danish Government and a Diploma from the Danish Export Board.
