Throughout the world, G4S companies are encouraged to
support
and play an active role in supporting local community initiatives, such as:- Supporting
the G4S 4teen - a group of aspiring young athletes chosen from developing communities
around the world as they seek to fulfil their potential on sport's biggest stages over the coming years.
- Supplying
financial and building maintenance support to a children's home in Zambia which specialises in supporting
orphans who have lost their parents to AIDS.
- Supporting
and assisting a community programme in Kenya which aims to provide regular meals
for around 800- children from deprived areas.
- Supporting the Prison Me? No Way! programme to help provide Crime & Safety workshops to the secondary school children across the UK.

Involvement
G4S supports and encourages our employees to become involved their
local communities through the G4S Sponsorship Matching programme. The programme
offers to match money raised by them for local good causes and community
projects.G4S Community ProjectsG4S plc is implementing a five year programme of Community Projects which aims to support
a range of health, welfare and community initiatives in countries around the world until 2012.The first of these is the creation of a community tree-growing project in Malawi involving 20 families, which also includes the rotational cultivation of maize, cassava, and other food sources.
