Sok Wah Lee
Sok Wah joined Securicor in 2001 as Group Pensions Manager, with responsibility for looking after all aspects of the UK pensions fund and Group pensions strategy and policy.
In 2004 the role was expanded as a result of the merger between Group 4 and Securicor to include Executive Compensation, whereby her job role changed to Head of Compensation and Benefits. This role was global and strategic and aimed to deliver a coherent compensation policy to meet all business needs.
The Head of Compensation and Benefits role has continued to grow in line with Sok Wah’s own personal growth.
“I was very privileged to work in the HR environment at G4S Head Office with people who believe in the very principles of learning and development. My current manager and the Head of Executive Development were spontaneous in giving me pointers in the right direction for all aspects of learning. The culture is very motivational for personal development.
Additionally, with an office culture that recognises the importance of children to working mothers, means that I am able to juggle my childcare and work with relative ease. The concept of reward to motivate the desired behaviour is frequently practised on my 6 year old!”
