Peter Agergaard
Having joined the company 10 years ago as an HR Consultant in Denmark, Peter Agergaard, now Regional HR Director for Northern/Western Europe, can attribute some of his career success to G4S’s Leadership Programme.
This programme identifies ‘high potential’ leaders from around G4S’s global businesses and exposes them to a wide range of ideas, experiences and challenges.
This two year programme took Peter on residential courses in the UK, Peru, India and Greece.
Commenting on the experience, Peter said “I have had the opportunity to visit colleagues from Lima to New Delhi and have always been impressed with their professionalism, hospitality and openness.
Not least, getting academic input directly related to G4S, as well as a broader theoretical perspective from functions other than HR eg. Marketing and Finance, has been invaluable.
The top management focus and involvement in this programme has really surprised me –their enthusiasm and interest has been fantastic. I am proud of working in a company that spends money and great efforts on such a programme – it really shows that we invest in our people.”
