Disastrous fires in Peloponnese
Following the dry heatwave of summer 2007, fires caused devastation and destruction in the Peloponnese region of Greece. High winds spread the fires so quickly that many people were cut off before they could escape, and many people were burned alive.
Following these fires, every single G4S employee in our Greek business united under a common purpose to bring hope to the people that needed it the most.
Money, toys, food and clothing were gathered through contributions of each employee and were then delivered to the local authorities of the prefecture of Hleias in Peloponnese.
From caring, to actually doing something about it, the employees united together in a common cause, with the help and support of the G4S management team.
