On their bikes for charity

A 14 strong team wearing G4S Wackenhut jerseys set off on bicycles from the University of Miami, Florida, in May, on a two-day 150 mile journey called the Zimmerman MS Bike Ride presented by Wachovia.

Around 2,700 cyclists and 400 volunteers got involved in this annual event to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.  All cyclists made an invididual commitment to raise a minimum of $300.

This exciting event is the Society’s South Florida Chapter’s largest fundraiser.  Due to team G4S Wackenhut’s current fundraising total of £14,256, it has been listed as one of the top 20 fundraisers out of an estimated 180 teams.
