National Social Security Fund
We have put systems in place to ensure all employees are registered with NSSF, and that employees accounts are continually and accurately updated with contributions paid by and in their respect. NSSF is a compulsory savings scheme into which G4S as employer pays monthly contributions for each employee who is a member. Our employees join the fund after appointment to term contract status for unionisable, or permanent status for management. We also assist employees in claiming their benefits such as age benefits, emigration benefits, invalidity benefits and survivors benefits.
Staff Retirement Benefit Schemes (SRBS)
We have established occupational Staff Retirement Benefits Schemes. The main purpose of the schemes is to provide pension benefits to members on their retirement upon attainment of retirement age (60), on early retirement from 50yrs, or retirement on grounds of ill health. We ensure the existence of proper coordination between the SRBS Trustees, members, administrators, investment managers and custodians. The Company honors its contributions to the schemes and monthly remittances are made on time.
G4S Education Trust Fund
We have an established Education Trust Fund, which was set up as an irrevocable charitable trust. It is a long-term project to support the education needs of our employees and their dependants. The Trust Fund operates via an annual draw, open to all permanent and term contract employees, with a minimum of 3 years in the service of the Company.
Group Personal Accidents & WCA
Being in the Security industry, our employees are exposed to various risks as they go about their roles. Such risks include accidents. For this, we have a Group Personal Accident policy in place, as well as the Workman Compensations Act.
Group Life
We have a Group Life policy in place for all our non-unionisable employees. The sum assured becomes payable upon death in service.
