Buckby House

Rebound ECD (Education, Care and Development), which is a part of G4S, opened Buckby House, its first children’s home in April 2007.  Buckby House is a specially designed five bedded residential children’s home offering bespoke education and care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) on either an emergency or planned placement basis.

The children’s home provides a bright, clean, professional and welcoming environment.  In addition, Buckby House has a vehicle assigned to it which helps our staff give the young people easy access to local community sports facilities and educational resources.

The philosophy of Rebound stands firmly on principles described in the government green paper entitled ‘Every Child Matters’ which states that all young people should achieve the following five outcomes:
