Australia - Immigration detention
In 2003 we signed a contract with the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA), on behalf of the Commonwealth Government, to operate all Australian Immigration Detention Centres (IDC) and Immigration Reception and Processing Centres (IRPC).
We have responsibility for the operation of the following centres:
- Maribyrnong IDC, Melbourne
- Melbourne Immigration Transit Accommodation
- Perth IDC
- Perth Immigration Residential Housing
- Christmas Island IDC
- Villawood IDC, Sydney
- Sydney Immigration Residential Housing
- Brisbane Immigration Transit Accommodation
- Adelaide Immigration Transit Accommodation
- Northern IDC, Darwin
