Crisis management
A 2006 independent report found that during the next five years, 83% of companies will face a crisis that will negatively impact profitability between 20-30%. We believe that prevention is better than cure and although crisis events are by their nature unpredictable, they do not have to be unexpected. G4S Risk Management offers a suite of products and services to assist our clients prepare for and deal with a range of incidents, primarily to ensure they do not deteriorate into a crisis in the first place.
Our approach to crisis management is to:
- Consider the steps required to prevent a crisis occurring
- Determine the preparations needed to react to events outside of your control
- Plan a response if those events should occur
- Develop a post-event business recovery plan
We work in partnership with clients around the world to address their specific needs, from an initial advisory report to reviewing existing crisis management plans to designing and specifying new plans. This can also include business continuity planning as well as emergency response and crisis management training.
