Screening and vetting services
G4S has been screening and vetting its own employees for over 50 years.
As the largest security solutions organisation in the UK, we employ over 40,000 people. It is essential for the credibility of G4S and our customers that our employees are of the highest possible calibre. This is achieved using our high quality, industry-leading screening and vetting service.
As well as defining our own high standards, we are fully compliant with all the screening and vetting standards required by law since they were introduced in 2004. These standards include:
- BS7858 - as inspected by the NSI
- The Data Protection Act of 1998
G4S is also a registered Umbrella Body of the Criminal Records Bureau and is able to coordinate the collection of CTC checks.
We are able to offer the same quality of screening and vetting to other companies requiring these services. A range of checks can be delivered by us, including:

We employ a team of highly trained and experienced staff to deliver both standard screening services to the BS7858 standard and bespoke packages according to each individual customer need. We are also able to deliver a customised set of screening standards and services depending on the customer requirements.
