G4S Somtam Express
G4S Cash Services (Thailand) has sponsored the racing yacht "
G4S
Somtam Express"since September 2003.
The yacht, built and
registered locally, is specially
designed especially for South East Asian conditions.
The G4S Somtam Express
takes part in many competitions throughout the year,
including six major international regattas:
- Phan-nga
Bay
Regatta
- Royal Langawi International Regatta
- Koh Samui Regatta
- Phuket
Race Week
- ASEAN
Regatta, Port Dickson, Malaysia
- Phuket King's Cup Regatta
The
yacht and its crew have won many victories, including the 2007 Phan-nga Bay Regatta, in which G4S
Somtam Express finished 1st across the line in all four races and 2nd on handicap.
