Chien An Chen is an 18 year old with a huge talent and passion for table tennis. He began playing at the age of 10 and at the age of 15 was ranked number six in his country. Selected as a national athlete when he was just 14 years old, Chien hopes to represent his country at the Olympic Games in the next few years.

Chien finished 3rd in the National Chung Chan Cup last week, which is a promising sign for his upcoming National Individual match between the 12th and 15th November.
In addition Chien is going to Cartagena de Indias in Colombia to compete in the World Junior Table Tennis Championships. The championships are taking place between the 9th -16th December. He is the defending champion having won the Championships in Madrid last year.

Chien An Chen, defeated both Yen An of China, and Paul Drinkhall of England, to become the World Junior Table Tennis Champion in Madrid. Chen, is the first table tennis player from Chinese Taipei to win the World Junior Table Tennis Singles Championship.
