I’ve set my sights on the 2012 Olympics and hope to bring home a medal for my country and G4S. Updates:November 2009I have recently attended the G4S 20 year celebrations in New Delhi, India. It was a pleasure to be a part of the event. I also met G4S 4teen team-mate Mangal Ho. I really enjoyed the evening. This week my performances have been improving too. The practice sessions have been really good. I have increased my training to 5 hours this week and am looking forward to competing in the Nationals on the 16th November. I will be returning on the 20th of November, and hope to return with more good news!
October 2009This week’s practice was good and I am improving, and that is something which I am really excited about. I am waiting for both the nationals and the national games to shoot up good scores. I am also preparing for my exams scheduled in the 3rd week of this month. In addition, I am practicingsix days a week for three to four hours a day. I have started off with my exercise regime this week, and am hoping it all pays off. August 2009Recently I have been concentrating hard on my training. Although I am hoping to train at the ranges at Hyd soon, I have mostly been training at my home ranges. I have been managing to get a practice match in every week. I have seen good improvements in my performances from this. All of this training is in preparation for the State meet in the 4rd week of September. After this I also have the Nationals in November and the National Games in December. I also wanted to update you on some results and the impact G4S has had on my progress up to this point in time. Their support has allowed me to continue to compete at the top level of my sport and given me the chance to train hard. I have enjoyed success at international competitions such as the one I attended in Germany and Hungary, and I was also able to win the Bronze Medal at the Nationals in Delhi .In the recent Hyd Open I took the Gold Medal, and I hope this is a sign of how my season and quest to make the Olympics in 2012 will continue! However, on a different note, I just had a radio interview! This was very exciting! I spoke about my training, competitions and about the great impact Haile has had on me as a mentor! I am looking forward to it being broadcast and listening to it on 3rd September! April 2009I’ve been to quite a few really helpful training camps this year and I’ve been really pleased with my progress. It is exam time here for me at the moment so the next few weeks will be for my schoolwork |
