Un Teng Che is a 20 year old aspiring road cyclist who represents Macau. Following in her father’s footsteps, she only started cycling competitively at the age of 16 and has already exhibited real ability and natural talent. With a busy 2008 season that saw her rarely off the podium, Un Teng Che has her sights set on 2012.

Un Teng finished in 24th in the 11th National Games in Shandong. While she didn’t manage to meet the national standard at the games, she hopes the experience will stand her in good stead for when she competes in the East Asian Games in Hong Kong on the 2nd December.

I have been continuing my training at the barracks in both Macau and Zhuhal – China and it’s been going very well. I’ve just finished my exams and I’m working towards the Asian Games. I’m currently the only lady in the Macau team.
