I’m so happy to be part of this programme and to meet other athletes from around the world that are all hoping to achieve their own personal goals. I look forward to working with G4S and hope one day to bring an Olympic gold medal back to my country

A student at Kyzilordinskii University, Ilin started weightlifting at just six years of age and still has a passion for the sport. Ilin's sporting hero is Turkish weightlifting champion Halil Mutlu, who Ilin describes as a "life legend of Turkey" and " a very generous and hospitable man."
