Margus throws for Gold in Estonia

Margus Hunt of Estonia won a gold medal on his home turf at the Estonian Championships in July.

However, not content with a title in one discipline, the champion discus thrower, this time secured this medal in the Hammer throw, securing an impressive victory in front of a home crowd.

It is a very good chance to meet other young elite sportsmen all over the world who are devoted to their sport. I can prove that I am a man of that team because I have a huge willingness to work hard and I am ambitious enough to carry myself through.

Profile

Margus started his sporting career aged 12 and has represented his country for the last four years. His current club is Sakala, Vildandi in Estonia. His sporting hero is Discus champion Virgilius Alekna, who Margus describes as "a great person with a really professional attitude."
