Austrian Masters Beach Volleyball
G4S is both a sponsor and the main security provider to the
Austrian Masters Beach Volleyball Tournament in Carinthia Province, providing over 140 security officers to the event.
G4S is proud to be a part of the Masters event as it runs for over three days, attracts approximately 140,000 individuals, and is broadcasted in over 100 countries.
Furthermore, beach volleyball is one of the biggest summer sport-events in Austria, many big companies invite their VIPs to Klagenfurt - one of the summer "hot spots" in Austria.
Volleyball is the one of the youngest Olympic disciplines and it has a very innovative character. Therefore, G4S welcomes its involvement in this growing and successful sport.
As well as sponsorship, G4S has also provided security services since 2006, such as "road barrier" vehicle access control, control of parking and entry control for the many spectators.
An interesting function of G4S Austria is its special security service, the Jet Ski, provided at the event. The Jet Ski plays an important dual role; firstly the Jet Ski pilot protects the event from the lake side and secondly, the co-pilot is a Life Guard who can quickly be at the side of a person needing assistance.
