Logistics and distribution
We have extensive experience of delivering service to the logistics and distribution sector. Our expertise includes gatehouse duties, access control, egress control including vehicle and seal searching, control of high value and bonded storage including personnel searches, high value vehicle escorting and also perimeter patrolling.
We have recently played a significant role in helping one of our major customers in the distribution industry, NYK Logistics, be awarded the following external accreditations:
- ISO 28000-2007 (Security Management Systems for Supply Chains)
- Authorised Operators Licence as approved by HMRC.
We are experts in control room management and CCTV operation, and focus on monitoring public space and residential areas. We also have the capability to deploy a mobile patrol response unit to deal with any incidents that occur.
At one of our key operations in Nottingham we deploy a team of more than 45 security professionals to monitor the city centre, housing blocks and general public space. Using sophisticated technology and working in partnership with the Police we are able to help ensure the safety of the people of Nottingham.
Underpinning our performance and expertise in this area, Nottingham City Council has recently been awarded BS7985 accreditation in CCTV Management and Operation for this joint operation.
