As part of our commitment to help build safer communities we are integral to efforts to reduce crime, manage those who have offended and reduce reoffending.

We provide a range of critical services to support front line policing and release officers to focus on their core duties; we manage prisons, secure training centres and the secure escorting of over 750,000 prisoners and detainees each year. We also monitor more than 12,000 offenders in the UK using electronic tags.

We strive to achieve a balance between the need to provide security and protection for the communities in which we operate and decency and dignity for those in our care.
