Next Steps
What Happens Now
- The Recruitment Admin Team will contact you on the phone number provided.
- They will need to ask you some quick questions as part of the first stage of our recruitment process. These questions are simple and cover your personal details, what you have been doing for the last 10 years and ensure you can provide the required documentation at interview.
- Once these questions have been answered successfully, we will then arrange an interview with one of our Resourcing Officers. Think about what time would be best for you - we interview Monday to Friday and have appointments in the morning or afternoon. We will aim to arrange an appointment that suits you.
- You will be sent a letter confirming the date, time and location of your interview.
Preparing
for the Interview
Download and fill in a copy of the
application formTo ensure your application is processed as smoothly as possible bring the following with you to the interview:
- A valid passport
- A birth certificate accompanied by a valid P45 or P60 or a National Insurance card
- A recent household bill or bank statement
- The completed application form, ensuring that there are no gaps in your employment history in the last 5 years. If there are gaps due to unemployment then that's fine - just write that in the application form
- Your uniform sizes.
This is for our screening process which is the final stage in our recruitment process. Our screening department will check all the information that you provide us with on your application form, which is why it is vital we gather as much information as possible at your interview. Any false declaration will result in your application being rejected.
After
Interview
If your interview is successful your application
pack will be sent to our screening department. Our screening process can take up to
two weeks though this can be sooner if we have all the information listed above. After this process has been completed one of two things will happen with your application:
- Screening has been successful and we would be pleased to offer you employment with our company
- Screening has been unsuccessful and your application has been rejected. This will be communicated to yourself via a letter.
Training Induction Course
The next part is the training induction course, which is three days long and covers all aspects of the role of a security officer and an overview of the company. Training is carried out by our dedicated training team, who will ensure you are fully equipped for your new job. At this stage we will also issue you with your uniform.
Once your training is completed then you will then meet with your Contract Manager. You will be provided with details of the hours you will be working, plan your site training, receive local office contact details and agree a time when they will visit you during your first week.
