Nick Bettes
Technology Director

Nick Bettes is Technology Director of G4S Security Services (UK), a position he has held since 1 December 2005 having formerly held the position of IT Director.  Nick has responsibility for developing an electronic security capability on the UK mainland and for ensuring that we maximise benefits from co-operation between the systems businesses in EIRE and Northern Ireland.  Nick also retains his IT responsibilities for the management and development of the core systems of the business and applying information technology to enhance customer service.

Prior to the merger Nick was IT Director of Securicor - a post he held since 2000 and was previously Group IT Manager for Expro International Group plc in the oilfield services industry.  Nick started his career with the Merchant Navy and subsequently worked for Vickers Shipbuilding and British Gas Exploration & Production, gaining extensive experience in providing technology for heavy industries.
