G4S Security Services (UK) has made significant investment in Northern Ireland by building and operating its own NSI Gold Approved Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in Belfast.  This facility is the company’s primary electronic security monitoring facility in Europe, which currently remotely monitors thousands of systems throughout the UK and Ireland.  

The ARC has the capability of remotely monitoring fire, intruder, personal attack and perimeter alarm systems.  We also have the capability of monitoring and responding to numerous other forms of alarms linked to refrigeration or air conditioning systems, for example.  The ARC can monitor these systems using a variety of transmission and communication methods such as PSTN, ISDN, ADSL and IP.  In addition to monitoring alarm signals, the ARC can remotely monitor images from detector activated CCTV systems using ISDN, ADSL or IP.
