Security Training
Each year, G4S Risk Management provides specialist security training to thousands of security professionals, government officials, corporate executives and their families worldwide. G4S Risk Management designs and delivers tailored training programmes on how to recognise and avoid potential threats, and, if necessary, react to them successfully. These programmes empower people to protect themselves, their families and their organisations wherever they are in the world: our mobile training teams have delivered training in over 125 countries over the last 20 years. G4S Risk Management also offers bespoke technical and practical training for sovereign government agencies and other specialist units.
Our experienced and qualified instructors deliver many separate, doctrine-based training courses which have been proven over the years and which are continually reviewed and updated in line with best practice. Our instructors are predominantly former Special Forces personnel, all of whom have been carefully selected to ensure they have extensive military experience, appropriate operational expertise in hostile environments and the educational qualifications to effectively teach the specialist skills required by clients. Our courses are accredited by Skills for Security and / or Edexcel, therefore our student are able to receive certificates acknowledging their successful completion of these courses.
Predominantly our training is conducted at G4S RM’s training facility in Worcestershire which is located on a former MoD airbase. This is a 200 acre secure and private site which facilitates practical exercises and realistic scenarios followed by reviews, to ensure that all students learn not just theory but easily applied practical skills. G4S RM also has two other training facilities in Herefordshire which both provide full board accommodation and access to excellent training areas. Our UK training facilities are easily accessed via the M5 or by direct train links from London, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff. Overseas training can be arranged according to clients’ specific requirements.

Aviation training
G4S Aviation Services designs and delivers training for you at our own training centre near to Heathrow Airport or at your own premises. We have delivered training all over the world for airports, airlines, the Department for Transport (DfT) and government agencies.
