Cypress Creek Juvenile Offender Correctional Center is a 96-bed secure residential program for 48 maximum risk and 48 high risk male youth between the ages of 13 and 21.Thirty of these places are designated for youth requiring specialised mental health or substance misuse services.We operate a full educational programme that includes special education, academic progression, vocational training, high school diploma and GED.
Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center in Tennessee is a secure detention facility for up to 64 male and female youth in pre- and post-adjudication status. Included in the operation of Youth Custody & Rehabilitation Assisting youth to identify,understand and work to build the skills to reduce re-offending, to successfully re-integrate into society and resolve the barriers and challenges they face.
Hastings Youth Academy is a 185-bed residential facility for 65 high risk male youth and 120 moderate risk male youth between the ages of 14 and 19.The HYA approach is a male gender specific, cognitive-behavioural treatment program within a therapeutic community setting and is based on the most current “Best Practices” research. One hundred twenty (120) beds are designated for Behavioural Health Overlay Services (BHOS) for youth with significant mental health or substance misuse needs. A comprehensive educational program is integrated into the overall living environment and the program’s behaviour incentive system.
Okeechobee Juvenile Offender Correctional Facility is a 96-bed secure residential program for male youth between the ages of 13 and 21.There are 48 high risk youth that are offered specialised sex offender treatment and 48 maximum risk youth and high profile youth sentenced to the adult Department of Corrections but placed with the Department of Juvenile Justice.A full educational program, including academic progression, high school diploma and GED preparation is provided to the youth by our employees.
Orange Youth Academy is a high-risk residential 48-bed male program with an anticipated length of stay of nine to twelve months. The program provides Mental Health Overlay Services (MHOS). Treatment and educational programs are based on the therapeutic community model, incorporate the principles of restorative justice and reflect proven cognitive-behavioral treatment modalities. The goal is to provide an environment that offers opportunity for growth and fosters feelings of safety and well-being. Residents participate in psychotherapeutic process group's individual therapy and family reunification to help them learn to identify feelings, process events. to gain control over their abusive behavior, victim reparation skills, post trauman, and to increase their pro-social interaction with peers.
Palmetto Youth Academy provides quality treatment services for youth who have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse and those who have been dually diagnosed. The facility uses evidence-based assessments and practices such as Thinking For A Change (T4C), Living in Balance, ARISE, etc. to enhance protective factors while building skills to address criminogenic needs and decrease risk factors. We use motviational interviewing techniques and choice language to facilitate our evidenced-based practices and stimulate positive, self-motivated change in each youth through individual, group, and family counseling, visitation, education, treatment teams, and special family days conducted quarterly. This is accomplished through balanced and restorative justice activities and groups. Health and wellness services are provided through the in-house medical department. Educational programming is geared toward the remedial needs of the youth with the ultimate goal of high school graduation. Vocational services include a digital publishing lab.
