Dr. Michael Goodboe
VP HR & Corporate Learning Officer
Dr. Michael E. Goodboe is the Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Learning Officer (CLO) for The Wackenhut Corporation. He is in his 23rd year at Wackenhut. Dr. Goodboe joined Wackenhut from the U.S. Navy, where he served as a national intelligence analyst. Certified as a translator in Portuguese, Spanish, and Polish by the Defense Language Institute, he served in Asia, Europe, South America and throughout the United States. He has an AA Degree in Liberal Arts from Northern Virginia Community College, a Bachelor's in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, a Master's in Human Resource Management from Pepperdine University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University. He leads a staff of 17 Human Resource and Training professionals.
