Robert Burns
Sr. VP, Sales and Operations

Robert Burns, Senior Vice President, Sales & Operations, is responsible for the development and operation of customized security programs involving multiple locations across a broad geographic area. He oversees the business development and proposal development teams and their responses to individual bidding opportunities and also coordinates with Wackenhut’s National Account Group, as well as all field operations. Robert joined Wackenhut in 1998 as vice president of the Southern region and was promoted to the position of vice president, national accounts operations in 2002 where he was responsible for overall customer service to key national accounts and instrumental in the company’s ongoing organic growth achievements. He was promoted to his current position in  2006 and brings 24 years of security industry sales, operations and management experience to the Wackenhut team. Robert attended the University of Houston and is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Managers Association (IFMA) and the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
