The goal of the new board was to provide the community with a sense of professionalism, customer service, and responsiveness that was not being provided by their current contractor. The board completed an exhaustive search, visiting other communities, investigating security companies, and researching the options available. One of the key determining factors in the board’s unanimous decision was Wackenhut’s unmatched reputation and experience within the residential market.
Wackenhut’s state-of-the-art Visitor Control System (VCS) was installed at the two gates to closely monitor access to the community. Using the integrated system, Wackenhut’s Upscale Security Officers were able to process visitors faster while providing a verifiable digital record of all resident, guest, and vendor entries into the community.
Wackenhut’s Custom Protection Officers® were selected to provide a highly visible community patrol and emergency response service. Prior to hiring Wackenhut, the community had experienced significant problems with vandalism, petty thefts, and destruction of community property, at one time finding nine golf carts in a community pond. Working closely with local law enforcement, the new Wackenhut security program was able to effectively eliminate the vandalism and crime in the community, not only saving the community money, but improving the quality of life for the residents.
