Your chance to serve at Wimbledon

Every year the eyes of the whole world are on the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships. G4S Security Services (UK) is offering you the chance to be part of the security team. We are currently recruiting security staff to work during the Championships period, 23 June - 6 July 2008.

It is hard work and a real challenge as well as a great opportunity. You could earn over £600 for the fortnight whilst adding some interesting experience to your CV.

We will be looking for an honest checkable background, a confident polite approach and a smart appearance. These are uniformed positions and applicants will be expected to conform to a uniformed image.

You should have accommodation available in the area and be aged 18 years or over. You will also need to be available for one day the week before the Championships for full training and to go through the licensing process.

Application process

If you wish to apply then please start the following process:

1. Complete the online application form. We will email confirmation of receipt back to you. Download the application/pdf college reference form, ask your tutor to complete, sign and stamp it with an official stamp.

2. From February 2008 we will email out an invitation to a presentation day, held in London, where you will go through a formal interview and have the opportunity to learn more about G4S and working at the Championships.

You will need to bring:

- the completed college reference form
- two forms of ID
- proof of address
- proof of your date of birth.

We will remind you of this as part of the invitation.

3. Three weeks after the presentation days we will contact you regarding positions at the Championships.

If you have any questions or would like clarification on any of the above points, please contact us on 08702 414 753.
