Mangaung Correctional Centre in South Africa receives double Gold Awards at the Bloemfontein 2009 Show
The Bloem Show is an annual event which provides a platform for organisations around South Africa to market their goods, services or brands to the general public. The Mangaung Correctional Centre exhibited at this show for the first time in 2008.The Mangaung Correctional Centre participated again through an exhibition, with the aim to make the public aware, not only of the services we deliver, but also to create awareness that we are now part of G4S and that our company brand have now changed.
The exhibition, which was manned by G4S employees in their newly branded uniforms, focused on the services and specifically what G4S stands for in the specific industry of Care and Justice.
To achieve this goal, focus was given to the vision, mission and values of G4S and the following key messages were communicated:
- Setting the standard by being the best in whatever we do every time we do it.
- Setting the standards and for employees to follow and living the values
- Ensuring a conducive environment for the empowerment, support and safe custody of inmates.
- Ensuring that we continuously develop and maintain business process to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Ensuring opportunities for growth and development to deal with life’s challenges, for everybody in our care and in our employ.
- Providing structures, interventions and activities to enhance successful reintegration into society.
