Port Phillip Prison
Port Phillip Prison is the largest maximum security prison in Victoria. With more than 1000 inmates, 650 employees, and multiple specialist units, we provide employment, health, education and medical programs and services.
Our employees ensure all people in our care are supervised and managed in a secure, safe and humane manner.
We provide programs to support prisoners and reduce reoffending, and services to support the wellbeing of prisoners and their families.
Mount Gambier Prison
Mount Gambier Prison is a low to medium security campus style prison in South Australia.
With capacity for 653 inmates, it accommodates mainly male prisoners who have been sentenced or are on remand.
As well as managing and supervising offenders, our employees facilitate work, learning and community programs to rehabilitate offenders.
Custody and Escort Services
Custody and Escort Services manages police gaols on behalf of Victoria Police. We operate in Melbourne, Moorabbin, Ringwood, Collingwood and Bendigo.
At Dandenong Children's Court, specialist support is provided to children, young people and their families.
Our employees provide safe accommodation, escort, secure and support people attending court, and facilitate access to Victoria Police Health Services.
Justice Prisoner Transport
Justice Prisoner Transport plays a critical role in the criminal justice system by ensuring the safety and security of people in custody and the community.
The movement of people in custody relies on secure, purpose-built vehicles with in-vehicle technology.
Our employees transport people between correctional facilities, courts, police stations and social service and forensic health agencies.
District Court Building
G4S provides court security and custodial services to the District Court of Western Australia and Central Law Courts.
Our employees operate two custody centres to process overnight arrests and people on trial. They also act as dock and gallery guards and provide operational support in courts.
Others support site monitoring, front of house and checkpoint security, control room security, and computerised security management systems.
