Joe Sofra

Skills and experience: Joe has more than 25 years’ experience in the Government, resource, energy and infrastructure sectors. He has worked in Australia, South Eastern and Central Asia, South America, Europe and the former Soviet Union.

Career experience: Joe has held senior executive roles with leading international service and technology companies including Wood PLC, ThyssenKrupp and BAE Systems. Most recently, he was Chief Executive, Resources and Industrial at Broadspectrum Ltd where he was also a member of the company’s senior executive committee.

Mark Ryan


Appointed: 2018

Skills and experience: With aBComm in Accountancy from the University of New South Wales, Mark is an accountant by training. He is also a CPA and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK). In addition to his experience in this sector, Mark also brings significant experience in services and telecommunications, with a work history of over 30 years in the global market.

Career experience: Mark worked for Rheem Australia and held various finance roles for Cable & Wireless PLC, as well as FP&A in Asia, before joining G4S.

Skills and experience: Rebecca is a senior human resources practitioner with extensive experience of employee relations, M&A, change management and generalist HR practises. Rebecca’s experience spans a broad range of industries and jurisdictions. Before joining G4S as the Director, Human Resources and Safety, she was the Head of HR, Energy and Enterprise at Energy Australia.

Career experience: Rebecca’s previous roles include Head of Employee Relations at BAE Systems Australia, Regional People Manager for Qantas Engineering as well as National Employee Relations Manager and Human Resources Manager (Operations) for National Foods.

Andrew Dewsnap

Andrew Dewsnap - Director, Legal

Appointed: 2011

Skills and experience: Andrew is the G4S General Counsel and Company Secretary for Australia and New Zealand. He provides overall legal advice and assistance and  is qualified to practice law in both Australia and England. 

Career experience: Before joining G4S, Andrew held senior roles at large private law firms in London, Singapore and Melbourne. For 20 years he advised on a wide range of contracts and transactions including infrastructure, investments, public/private partnerships, Government outsourcing, joint ventures, and acquisitions. Andrew has also spent 18 months working as G4S Regional General Counsel in Hong Kong.

Appointed: 2016

Skills and experience: Simon leads thetechnology team in the infrastructure, project and development streams, supporting over 2,000 users as well as critical services and applications for G4S and its clients. Simon is also responsible for G4S’s newly created Continuous Improvement portfolio, which drives a series of initiatives across the organisation.

Career experience: Simon graduated from La Trobe University with an IT Computing Degree. He has more than sixteen year’s experience in Information Technology and project management for global business-to-business organisations.

Craig Castlle


Appointed: 2019

Skills and experience: Craig has more than 30 years of experience in corrections across a broad range of roles and portfolios. He is responsible for Port Phillip Prison and Justice Prisoner Transport (VIC), Mount Gambier Prison, SAPMICAM Prisoner Transport/Prisoner Management and Electronic Monitoring (SA), Electronic Monitoring (NT) and the District Court Building (WA).

Career experience: Craig forged a career in Western Australia managing the WA Emergency Management Unit, multiple prisons and state-wide operations culminating in the role of Assistance Commissioner Custodial Operations. In 2017, Craig was appointed GM of Port Phillip Prison.

Neonie Colls


Appointed: 2019 

Skills and experience: Neonie has more than eighteen years experience in the security industry across a diverse range of portfolios. 

Career experience: Neonie has been with G4S since 2015. She started as Branch Manager overseeing security contracts in Western Australia before moving to global contracts in NSW and most recently, as General Manager of Court Services Victoria. 

Current external commitments: Neonie is a member of the ASIS Victoria Executive Committee.

Tabitha Mitchell

Tabitha Mitchell - director, business development and sales

Appointed: 2020

Skills and experience: Tabitha leads Business Development, Sales and Marketing across Australia & New Zealand. She is one of the region’s most knowledgeable, experienced leaders in the provision of outsourcing and offshoring.

Career experience: Tabitha brings 25 years’ experience gained from global and local organisations, establishing high-profile outsourcing services to government and commercial industries. At Serco, Tabitha led the Citizen Services Business Development function, helping the business expand market share through the acquisition of high-profile contracts. Tabitha also led Global Sales and Marketing for Redflex Traffic Systems, holding responsibility for end-to-end management of complex government procurement contracts in local and international markets.

Current external commitments: Tabitha is a Board Member and Growth Director for Corsonys a start-up in the medtech business. Corsonys are on a mission to prevent heart disease by empowering clinicians and consumers with cost effective, non-invasive, and easy to use heart health screening technologies.
