A letter to all G4S Security Team Members in North America

Dear Valued Employee:

I am excited to share the news that today Allied Universal has satisfied or waived all of the conditions necessary to complete the acquisition of G4S. I am enormously grateful to you all for your dedication and commitment to our organization. We can now move forward and start integrating the two companies with the goal of delivering the considerable benefits that I know this acquisition can achieve.

Due to this acquisition, we will be able to bring value to both our clients and to our employees in
a number of ways:

  • Grows our operations in North America and globally
  • Expands our cutting-edge smart technology solutions and our team of highly trained and devoted Security Professionals, which will create a global one-stop shop for customers.
  • Offers growth potential and more opportunity for employees
  • Provides access to a variety of opportunities to update skills and career advancement

This combination of Allied and G4S enables us to continue to be able to offer new opportunities for those employees who are interested in taking them. Our need for great employees in positions all across North America and globally continues to grow every year.

For the time being, I want to stress that everything will remain business as usual and nothing changes. Every frontline Security team member assigned to a client will remain in that same position. Frontline security team members will hold the same post, receive the same pay rate and execute the same schedule as today. Frontline security team members will continue to wear the same uniform, report to the same supervisor, follow the same procedures, and perform the same duties. In late Q3/early Q4, we will transition to Allied Universal uniforms and frontline security team members will be paid via the Allied Universal Payroll. 

Our intention is for this integration to progress as smoothly as possible with no disruptions to our clients or our employees. To the extent that any decisions are made that may impact you, we will communicate these changes to you as they may unfold.
