Aggregate Industries contract
G4S Integrated Services (G4S) has been awarded a three-year contract to deliver facilities management services to Aggregate Industries, one of the UK’s leading construction and building materials suppliers.
The multi-million pound contract will involve G4S providing cleaning and security services across England, Scotland and Wales. Aggregate Industries quarries, manufactures and supplies a wide range of heavy building materials including asphalt, concrete and aggregates.
From April, in the initial stages of the contract, G4S will take responsibility for cleaning and security at several key sites, with the intention to expand the service to the rest of Aggregate Industries’ locations across the UK. Additional services which will be available under the contract include maintenance, CCTV, access control, catering, computer aided facilities management, helpdesk and special projects.
Jamie McGregor, Category Manager, Procurement for Aggregate Industries said:
“G4S has taken the time to understand the complexities of our business and demonstrated its ability to deliver a wide spectrum of facilities management services. We are looking forward to working with them to deliver a cost effective, mutually beneficial cleaning and security solution.”
David Toone, G4S Commercial FM Managing Director said:
“Aggregate Industries has a geographically diverse, unique estate requiring a range of bespoke FM services. We are delighted to be in a position to add value to the business’s cleaning and security provision.”
