Congratulations to Curtis McClements and the whole Security Operations Centre team based in Belfast, who won the Irish Security Industry Award for Monitoring Station (ARC) of the Year.
Security Operations Centre in Belfast crowned ARC of the Year
As part of the entry process, our colleagues submitted a ten-page review of their service, which covers monitoring for:
- Over 600 sites for the UK’s largest public services department
- The largest natural gas distribution network in the United Kingdom
- Over 6,000 residential sites for a major property management organisation
- A football premier league stadium
- One of the largest banking institutes in Ireland
… along with evidence from customers to support the application.
Fast-forward to the awards ceremony at the end of last year, and it was our very own team claiming the top prize following the judges’ assessment of the nominees.
Curtis McClements, Head of Monitoring Operations UK&I, said:
"Full credit must go to the operators, Assistant TL's and TL's within the ARC who deliver the service on a daily basis for the Irish customers, and a massive part of this achievement is down to Gareth Withers (Ireland Liaison Officer) and Alan Jowett (Ireland Technical Operator)."
This team delivers over and above the industry standard on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and they are a true credit to G4S.
