Not all faults on a security system need a site visit and, with the right skills, technicians are able to fix faults remotely to get the system back online quickly. In addition, some of the maintenance, including software upgrades, can be done remotely, reducing visit costs.

The G4S Technician Team

G4S has a team of remote system diagnostic technicians with years of experience supporting the main security systems of some of the country’s most secure critical infrastructure.

Housed within our customers services centre, the individuals undertake a thorough screening programme to ensure they can be trusted to perform their duties. The technicians use secure remote access technologies to perform initial diagnostics and fault resolution and, where necessary, liaise with field technicians for on site intervention.
