Doctor On Demand
March 20, 2020
In a time when we are all being asked to stay at home as much as possible, telemedicine benefits can be an affordable, safe and convenient way to obtain medical services without leaving the house.
Doctor on Demand video consultation services provides 24/7 access to U.S. Board Certified doctors and pediatricians by phone or online video, 365 days a year. Available to all employees and dependents, it provides access to doctors via live video visits. Employees can connect instantly from their smartphone, tablet, or computer or schedule an appointment. Just like an in-person visit, the doctor takes your medical history and symptoms, performs an exam and may recommend treatment - including prescriptions and lab work for a wide variety of the most common health conditions.
If you are enrolled in a G4S Blue Cross medical plan, Doctor on Demand is available free to you and any dependent you have covered under your plan, with no copayment.
For those not enrolled in a G4S Blue Cross plan, Doctor on Demand services are available on a cost-per-consultation basis, starting at $75 for a general medical consultation.
Doctor on Demand doctors can treat a wide variety of the most common health conditions including:
- Colds & Allergies
- Urinary Tract Infections
