G4S notes the article published by USA Today regarding G4S firearms management
G4S is proud of the outstanding service that our employees deliver for our customers every day to protect people, property and businesses. The recent USA Today article contains numerous factual errors and presents a flawed, biased and unbalanced report.
G4S sets and implements the industry’s highest standards of firearms management.
G4S voluntarily and uniquely maintains a Federal Firearms License (FFL) from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). This ensures that inventory practices, inspections and audits are conducted according to standards set by the U.S. government. In voluntarily adopting the FFL, G4S applies a much higher standard than other large security companies in the U.S.
G4S strictly enforces firearm safety as part of our commitment to our core values: we act with integrity and respect, we are passionate about safety, security and service excellence and we achieve this through innovation and teamwork. These values shape the culture of our organization, helping to guide, unite, differentiate and sustain us.
G4S is committed to maintaining its industry leading position in safety and security, including firearms safety.
