With almost two decades of experience developing sought-after residential properties in various locations around Dubai, this major real estate group had a reputation to uphold. They were seeking a reputable, high quality security provider who could help them ensure that their multiple properties would meet a high standard of safety.
Another crucial factor for this customer was to ensure that the security solutions were designed according to Dubai Police regulations. In addition, the customer required for the installation and testing of their security solutions to adhere to relevant local regulatory and international quality standards.
THE GOALS
G4S was brought in to design, supply, install, commission and maintain turnkey integrated security solutions that this customer could scale across their collection of real estate properties. This included all steps of the process, from reviewing the sites to designing the systems to implementing them.
With different needs and challenges for each property location, they required a bespoke solution that would be flexible and adaptable. It was important for these security solutions to be effective, while not being intrusive or negatively impacting the quality of life for the building residents.
It was also essential for these designs to allow for modification, to suit changing needs throughout the lives of these communities.
THE SOLUTION
The G4S team started with a detailed review survey of numerous locations. For each location, the team evaluated the physical security coverage, compliance with regulatory requirements and equipment resources available. Based on this assessment, they were able to implement a unique fit-for-purpose solution for the requirements of each site.
G4S has since implemented a range of security technology across these sites, including over 8,500 video surveillance cameras, 2700 Access Control System Doors, Intercom, Gate Barriers, Automatic Name Plate Recognition and RFID solutions.
With five fully operational branches across UAE and a workforce of over 12,000 staff from 35 different nationalities, G4S was able to extend its service and provide high level innovative solutions to this Dubai real estate group. The services provided included Enterprise incident management, control room fit out and software and IT infrastructure solutions designed to fit their custom requirements.
